Nickhotel Hell!

Okay, so this weekend was one big bust!
This blog is for anyone who is thinking of taking their kids to Nickhotel in Orlando, Florida (14500 Continental Gateway, Orlando, FL 32821)
First this I can recommend is DO NOT GO!
First let me get this out of the way, the hotel staff, security (and I had to deal with the hotel security), management, and any one else affiliated with the hotel were professionals, polite and on the spot.
An in-law of mine from out of town stayed there over the weekend and we as a family went there to visit our in-laws (our in-laws have children and so do we), and so that we as a family could have a great time together.
One warning, the place causes a lot of stress to parents – all parents from what I could tell. One of my in-laws had to confrontations while staying at Nickhotel, and I had one today.
My in-law has never been in any confrontations in his life (from what my family told me), and as for me I have had a few – so I know how to deal with these confrontations when they may come alone.
The place is kid friendly, very kid friendly, but there is no outs for the parents. There is no “safe place” for the parents to relax for even a half or a quarter of an hour. The place needs a safe area where the parents can drop off the kids for maybe a half an hour so the parents can get a massage, talk, read the newspaper, etc.. or a gym to let off some steam.
The kids could be dropped off and unique wrist bands can be given to the kids and the parents so there would be no mistaken who the parents are when they come and pick them back up. And have a time limit on this for less than an hour.
The stress level of the parents trying to do the best thing for their kids is off the chart. And the woman who attacked me today in the lobby was a girl scout leader (this is what my wife told me, for I did not notice that), and I also later found out that her kids kept pushing my son away from some video game where there were even four video terminals with the very same thing that were vacant. I had to cause a loud commotion in the lobby of the hotel to get security over to where my son and I were. Security did their jobs very well.
All I’m saying is that this place is awesome for the kids, I would never go there as a parent, nor will I ever go there again. My entire family agreed, they too will never go back! Plus here in Orlando there are to many other great choices to chose from for a vacation!
Too much time???
I know that this is a Soul promo video from Samsung, but I still need to say that some people just have too much time on their hands.
This is cool though, the guy shows ten optical illusions in two minutes.

Procter & Gamble wants to know if you approve of its support of the homosexual lifestyle
Company establishes toll-free number to call
Dear Ric,
Procter & Gamble wants to know if you approve its efforts to promote the homosexual lifestyle. It has established a toll-free number for you to call and vote to approve or disapprove its support of homosexuality. P&G has added homosexual lovers to its soap opera “As the World Turns.” It has also added scenes of homosexuals with open mouth kissing. The motive behind P&G’s push is to desensitize viewers, especially younger viewers, to the homosexual lifestyle. The ultimate goal of homosexual activists is homosexual marriage. Thousands of homosexual activists are already calling P&G.
Take Action!
