CAIR: Prostitutes for Radical Islam
Once again, the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) is demanding respect for Islam…radical Islam, that is. Just what caused CAIR to roll out the charges of “Islamophobia” and, as usual, go off acting like a spoilt child?
Sen. Barbara Boxer, well known Democrat Senator representing California, recently rescinded an honor called a “certificate of accomplishment” awarded to Basim Elkarra, an officer in the local CAIR chapter. Among Boxer’s concerns? According to Boxer spokeswoman Natalie Ravitz, Boxer is concerned that CAIR “gives aid to international terrorist groups”.

While the accusation that CAIR gives aid to international terrorist groups is certainly a surprise to CAIR’s executive director Nihad “I am in support of the Hamas movement” Awad, it isn’t a surprise to anyone with the slightest interest in radical Islam. Perhaps Awad should climb down off his high horse and examine his own past a bit?
Awad, true to form and right from the CAIR playbook, immediately goes on the offensive to defend CAIR’s so-called “honor”. Awad denied the charges that CAIR has any links to terror groups and claims a “deliberate smear campaign” by individuals whom support Israel are behind efforts to smear the Muslim community and silence its voice.
So, CAIR is the legitimate voice of Islam in America? While we agree that CAIR is the voice for radical, terrorist Islam in America, we seriously doubt that CAIR has done anything constructive to polish the image of Islam in America.
Consider:
American Muslims: In November 2001, they had positive views from 59 percent of the public. That number fell to 54 percent in March 2002 and now stands at 51 percent.
Shared values: Asked if “the Muslim religion and your own religion have a lot in common,” 31 percent answered affirmatively in November 2001, 27 percent in March 2002, and just 22 percent this year.

While the article is dated, we believe that the fall in respect by the average American for Islam as a religion can be directly tied to activities by CAIR to undermine our country, prepare North America for conversion to an Islamic thugocracy, and CAIR’s obvious ties to radical Islam. CAIR is an insult to the North American Islamic community and represents a very small number of Muslims who either do not know CAIR very well or refuse to see CAIR for what it is: a malignant cancer on the Muslim community that must be destroyed.
CAIR’s southern California executive director, Hussam Ayloush, believes this is an attempt to marginalize the largest mainstream Muslim organization in the country and that “This is totally unacceptable”.
If so, just what is Ayloush going to do about it? Demand a meeting with Boxer? Demand the award is re-instated? Hold his breath until he gets his way?
Ayloush and the rest of the CAIR gang had better get used to hearing a new word:
“NO”
But what really has CAIR so upset over what really is just another award, commonly issued by politicians to groups and organizations recognizing everything from literacy campaigns to get-out-the-voter drives?
J-e-w-s.
That’s right.
Jews.
Joe Kaufman, the man behind “Americans Against Hate” is Jewish. It was through his efforts to put pressure on Boxer that the award was revoked.
This would explain Awad’s weird statement:
“The entire issue is going back to Israel…if you love Israel, you’re OK…if you question Israel, you’re not…if that is the litmus test, no American Muslim and no freedom-loving person is going to pass that test.”
Now we understand.
A lone Jew from southern Florida rose up, stuck his finger in CAIR’s eye and the bigots of CAIR are incensed and blame it all on Israel.
How pathetic. This is the best CAIR can do? No wonder most North American Muslim’s want nothing to do with CAIR.
CAIR, North America’s greatest prostitute for radical Islam, has once again been exposed for what they are…and they don’t like it.

The website that contained the guide urged votes against constitutional amendments banning homosexual marriage, for stem cell research in Missouri and against an amendment banning abortion in South Dakota.

Two years ago, on August 9, 1974 I placed my hand on the Bible, which Betty held, and took the same constitutional oath that was administered to George Washington. I had faith in our people, in our institutions, and in myself. “My fellow Americans,” I said, “our long national nightmare is over.”
It was an hour in our history that troubled our minds and tore at our hearts. Anger and hatred had risen to dangerous levels, dividing friends and families. The polarization -of our political order had aroused unworthy passions of reprisal and revenge. I probably made some mistakes, but on balance, America and Americans have made an incredible comeback since August 1974. Nobody can honestly say otherwise. THE PRESIDENT: My fellow Americans, all of us are saddened by the news that former President Gerald R. Ford passed away last night. I spoke with Betty Ford. On behalf of all Americans Laura and I extend to Mrs. Ford and all President Ford’s family our prayers and our condolences.
President Ford was a great man who devoted the best years of his life in serving the United States. He was a true gentleman who reflected the best in America’s character. Before the world knew his name, he served with distinction in the United States Navy and in the United States Congress.
As a congressman from Michigan, and then as Vice President, he commanded the respect and earned the good will of all who had the privilege of knowing him. On August 9, 1974, he stepped into the presidency without ever having sought the office. He assumed power in a period of great division and turmoil. For a nation that needed healing and for an office that needed a calm and steady hand, Gerald Ford came along when we needed him most.
During his time in office, the American people came to know President Ford as a man of complete integrity who led our country with common sense and kind instincts.
Americans will always admire Gerald Ford’s unflinching performance of duty and the honorable conduct of his administration, and the great rectitude of the man himself.
We mourn the loss of such a leader, and our 38th President will always have a special place in our nation’s memory.
President Ford lived 93 years, and his life was a blessing to America. And now this fine man will be taken to his rest by a family that will love him always, and by a nation that will be grateful to him forever.

BAGHDAD, Iraq — An Iraqi appeals court has upheld the death sentence imposed on Saddam Hussein at his first trial, Iraq’s national security adviser said Tuesday, and a tribunal official said the verdict will be carried out even if the presidency doesn’t ratify it.
“The appeals court approved the verdict to hang Saddam,” Mouwafak al-Rubaie told The Associated Press.
On Nov. 5, an Iraqi court sentenced Saddam to the gallows for the 1982 killings of 148 people from a Shiite Muslim town after an attempt on his life there.

The appeals court decision must be ratified by President Jalal Talabani and Iraq’s two vice presidents. Talabani opposes the death penalty but has in the past deputized a vice president to sign an execution order on his behalf — a substitute that was legally accepted.
Once the decision is ratified, Saddam and other co-defendants sentenced to death at the trial would be hanged within 30 days.
Raed Juhi, a spokesman for the High Tribunal court that convicted Saddam, said the Iraqi judicial system would ensure that Saddam is executed even if Talabani and the two vice presidents do not ratify the decision.
“We’ll implement the verdict by the power of the law,” Juhi said without elaborating.
The appeals court was expected to announce its decision at a news conference later in the day.
An official on the High Tribunal court said the appeals court also upheld death sentences for Barzan Ibrahim, Saddam’s half brother and intelligence chief during the Dujail killings, and Awad Hamed al-Bandar, head of Iraq’s Revolutionary Court, which issued the death sentences against the Dujail residents.
The official, who spoke on condition of anonymity for security reasons, said the appeals court concluded the sentence of life imprisonment given former vice president Taha Yassin Ramadan was too lenient and returned his file to the High Tribunal. Ramadan was convicted of premeditated murder in the Dujail case.
The official said the appeals court demanded the death penalty for Ramadan in a letter to the High Tribunal.
At his trial, Saddam argued that the Dujail residents who were killed had been found guilty in a legitimate Iraqi court for trying to assassinate him in 1982.
The televised was watched throughout Iraq and the Middle East as much for theater as for substance. Saddam was ejected from the courtroom repeatedly for political harangues, and his half brother, Ibrahim, once showed up in long underwear and sat with his back to the judges.
The nine-month trial inflamed Iraq’s political divide, however, and three defense lawyers and a witness were murdered during the course of its 39 sessions.
Saddam is in the midst of a second trial charging him with genocide and other crimes during a 1987-88 military crackdown on ethnic Kurds in northern Iraq. An estimated 180,000 Kurds died during the operation.
The trial is in recess until Jan. 8. It is unclear how the appeals court ruling Tuesday might affect proceedings in the trial, which includes defendants who were not involved in the Dujail case.
Saddam was captured by U.S. soldiers while hiding with an unfired pistol in a hole in the ground near his home village north of Baghdad in December 2003, eight months after he fled the capital ahead of advancing American troops.

Even now it’s hard for me to fully grasp that this could be happening to me in this Christian nation of ours. But it’s an inescapable fact: I’ve been found guilty of the “crime” of praying in Jesus’ name while in uniform.
But throughout this blessed Christmastide, I’m still striving to faithfully serve as a chaplain in the U.S. Navy – appealing a court-martial verdict that will cost me and my family everything. You see, the Navy just ordered me to separate from the service by 31 January 2007. They are hoping to permanently end my career after 15.5 years of award-winning evaluations. I’m losing my pension, and my family is now being evicted from military housing, without health care benefits, on the street in the cold.
I am writing to warn you: The day has dawned in America when it is criminally punishable to pray in Jesus’ name, to quote Scripture passages in a military chapel, to voice evangelical messages about Jesus. So I pray you’ll read my story, because your help is needed to right this wrong. Something much bigger than my personal situation is at risk. Precariously hanging in the balance is our Constitution’s guarantee of freedom of religion. And I am prepared to defend that vital principle all the way to the Supreme Court. But justice takes time. And money.

I have faith God will provide. As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. I’d rather continue to pray in Jesus’ name and obey God’s will, than compromise and dishonor our Lord.
But what about all those other spiritually-shackled chaplains who are being coerced into silence throughout our armed forces? These men of God face the same fate I confront. Unless they betray their conscience and faith by uttering only generic, watered-down, nonsectarian, politically correct prayers, their careers are over, too, as are most of 68 chaplains suing the Navy. And what about this ungodly legal precedent that will then be further abused to silence Christian prayers by federal, state and local government employees? More than that, what will this mean to your freedom of religion as a professing Christian?
CRIMIMALIZATION OF CHRISTIANITY HAS OFFICIALLY BEGUN!
Navy Criminalizes Christianity No exaggeration, our Navy criminalized worshipping in public! In fact, the military judge more or less told me it’s a crime to pray in Jesus’ name outside of Sunday chapel, if your commander orders you to stop “worshipping in public” in uniform. So I’m now a federal convict, guilty of a “speech crime” against the government, because I simply read a prayer in uniform! Who will stop liberal judges from censoring our prayers? Will you? If so, I need you to stand with me and support my legal defense fund. You see, if we don’t appeal this ruling, it remains the legal precedent future courts will use to punish other chaplains. But I honor these Bible heroes, who refused to flinch when ordered not to pray. Daniel continued to do what he knew in his heart was right, regardless of the consequences. So did Peter and John, when the Pharisees “commanded them not to speak or teach at all in the name of Jesus.” These men obeyed God, and kept on praying and preaching in Jesus’ name. So must I. LET ME START FROM THE BEGINNING
Navy Chaplains have prayed Christian prayers in public since 1775, and since 1860 federal law and regulation protected us: “An officer in the chaplain corps may conduct public worship according to the manner and forms of the church of which he is a member.” But the Navy recently has changed. What seemed an innocent “memo of suggestion” in 1998 by the former Chief of Navy Chaplains – that chaplains who pray in Jesus’ name “ought not participate” and either be censored or be excluded from public ceremonies – was strengthened into a repressive policy on February 21st, 2006. As the Navy goes, so go all the other military branches. Atheists and liberals will make sure of that. That same month, the U.S. Air Force revised its “guidelines for religious expression,” reported in Jewish Week newspaper under the headline “Jesus barred from Air Force invocations.” If nobody had challenged this policy, the ACLU and Americans United for Separation of Church and State would undoubtedly use this unholy precedent to subvert our God-given right to free exercise OF religion, into their coerced freedom FROM ANY religious expression – not just in the Navy but all over America.
I believe God called me to serve as a chaplain. To step up to that role and as a Lieutenant in the Navy, I stepped down from the rank of Major in the U.S. Air Force back in 2002. I volunteered for that demotion in rank, and its significant pay cut, to answer God’s ministry call. The desire to do God’s will is still the driving purpose in my life. My heart’s desire was and is to help our men and women in uniform, to bring them the Lord’s comfort and mercy.
NAME ABOVE ALL NAMES NOW DEEMED “OFFENSIVE”
Liberal politicians wanted to impose “theological sensitivity requirements” on the content of all chaplain prayers and sermons. If passed by this new House and Senate, they could make matters far worse, requiring the Pentagon to punish “insensitive” prayers. Five times the White House spokesman answered media questions about me. Five times he gave the same answer: “The President cares about chaplains, but he also wants the Pentagon to make their own policies on how they should pray.” Emboldened by Presidential inaction, the Navy passed the worst prayer policy in 231 years – SECNAVINST 1730.7C, which banned praying “in Jesus’ name” anywhere outside of Sunday chapel. That Navy policy holds that uniform-wearing chaplains violate the law by worshipping in public. We can only pray in Jesus’ name and quote Bible passages in chapel on Sundays – the only time and place the Navy now protects “public worship.” The Navy’s top JAG investigator enforced that policy, ruling that I was “properly punished” for quoting the Bible in the chapel on a Saturday, during an optionally attended “Christian Memorial Service” to honor the faith of a deceased Sailor, a member of my flock. “That wasn’t public worship,” they told the newspapers. The Navy defended my commander who punished me for quoting “offensive” Bible verses like John 3:36 in chapel, and for preaching that “Jesus is the way to heaven” in my sermon, ruling: “Lt Klingenschmitt was free to choose to deliver a message at the memorial service that, while being true to his own beliefs, could also have commanded the assent of the vast majority of his audience. Nevertheless, Lieutenant Klingenschmitt chose to deliver a message he knew to be, by his own description, ‘exclusive.’” – Navy JAG investigator So they defended the skipper and punished the chaplain, taking a black-tip marker to my Bible, and banning John 3:36:”Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God’s wrath remains on him.” Is this Bible verse too “exclusive” for Navy chapels? Are our Christian Sailors no longer entitled to a Christian burial? Should we stand and let the Navy enforce their new policy? Liberals and atheists especially can’t stand to hear the name of Jesus, because deep inside they know “there is none other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved.” Remember: the ungodly want our children banned from saying “under God” in the Pledge of Allegiance in our public schools. Why? Because the mention of God might “offend.” Yet the ungodly care not how their anti-religious coercion hurts Christians. Their same pretext of being easily “offended” is abused in attempts to banish from our common life Ten Commandments plaques, crosses, and manger scenes across America.
Jesus taught us to forgive, to turn the other cheek. He also expects us to shine the light of His truth and dispel the darkness, so all will see that Christ is the way to God’s salvation. That’s why I continued to pray in Jesus’ name, even outside the chapel, even in public. And together we challenged the Navy’s illegal prayer policy. Over 300,000 people petitioned the President to intervene. Many more called Congress, and 75 Congressmen and 35 pro-family groups called for an executive order, which never happened. Then the House of Representatives passed a bill to strengthen the 1860 law which already allowed chaplains to pray according to their faith. That bill was blocked by liberals in the Senate.

NAVY SAYS PUBLIC WORSHIP NOT WORSHIP IN PUBLIC
I had enough. On March 30, I wore my uniform to a public Christian event outside the White House that included prayers and Bible readings. Former Alabama Chief Justice Roy Moore delivered a hard-hitting homily to highlight the program. My ONLY “speech” in uniform that day was reading Christian prayers and scriptures. Yet the Navy wrongly contends my prayers were “not public worship.” They insist worship must be restricted to the Sunday chapel. Prayer, however, is still worship in my book, whether in chapel on Sunday or outside the White House on Thursday. I was charged at court-martial with violating Article 92 of the Uniform Code of Military Justice, even though I got written permission to wear my uniform at any worship service or any religious observance. The court-martial judge ignored Navy Uniform Regulations which state: “Chaplains have the option of wearing their uniform when conducting worship services and during the performance of rites and rituals distinct to their faith groups.” During the court-martial I conducted my defense “by the Book” – the Bible – and rested my case without calling any witnesses, following Isaiah 53:7, which states Jesus “was oppressed and afflicted yet he did not open his mouth.” It was obvious to me: worshipping in public is the same as public worship. But not to the judge. On Sept. 13, I was gaveled guilty of disobeying a “lawful” order.
FLOOD OF SUPPORT SPURS CONGRESSIONAL ACTION
“I am being besieged by telephone, by bloggers, by everything else… I think that we should put in report language in our bill two things: First, that the Secretary of Defense will stay-that means hold in abeyance-enforcement of these newly promulgated regulations until such time as the Congress has had an opportunity to hold its hearings…I am basically assured by the Department of Defense that they will Comply.” – Sen. Warner, 19 Sep 06 Despite a solemn promise by the Secretary of Defense to “not enforce” that Navy prayer policy, they’re still enforcing it against me today! Navy lawyers are still defending that illegal policy in court, as the legal basis to kick me out. God spoke to me three times during my court-martial, that if I’d lay down my life, he would resurrect me. Responding to your petitions, the House & Senate attached a conference report to the 2007 Defense Authorization Act stating: “The conferees direct that the Secretary of the Air Force rescind the policy and revised interim guidelines concerning the exercise of religion…The conferees further direct the Secretary of the Navy rescind Secretary of the Navy Instruction 1730.7C dated February 21, 2006, titled “Religious Ministry within the Department of the Navy.” – Congress Conference Report STILL THE VERDICT MUST BE OVERTURNED As it now stands, any chaplain who dares to do what’s right runs the risk of being disciplined by a commanding officer. And the skipper is always right, backed up by the “brass.” So you see why my appeal must be overturned, either in Navy or federal courts, in order to set this matter straight. Congressional action, you see, doesn’t allow my case to be “grandfathered,” so my career apparently is over. The freedom purchased for others has cost me everything. People ask, “Chaplain, would you do it over again?” Without hesitation I answer, “Yes.” It was worth it to sacrifice my career for Jesus, for our Sailors, and for religious liberty, because now other chaplains will have the liberty I was denied. So I am being drummed out of the Navy, just like 68 other chaplains still suing the Navy for religious harassment, all of them evangelicals, most of them no longer in uniform, passed over for promotion because they preached Jesus Christ, and prayed in Jesus’ name, without compromise.
My story ran in 600 newspapers that week. One poll asked: Should military chaplains be allowed to lead prayers in Jesus’ name during public events that are not religious services?” And 85 percent of respondents agreed with me, and said “yes.” So many good citizens were angry at the Navy, they called Sen. John Warner (R-VA) who surrendered to public opinion in a speech on the Senate floor, just one week after my court-martial:
This is a move in the right direction, as long as it lasts. The battle isn’t over, however, and it won’t be until the unholy, precedent-setting verdict against me is overturned. You see, despite Congressional action, chaplains still aren’t free to pray publicly in Jesus’ name! The Navy’s previous policy that “suggests” we not pray in Jesus’ name still allows commanding officers to determine what their chaplains may and may not do.

Harvey recommended my “involuntarily release” from the Navy “due to lack of career potential.” He noted in his email: “This officer is the individual who conducted a hunger strike in front of the White House several months ago and has engaged in other actions concerning (Defense Department) and Navy Religious Ministry policies.” PERSECUTION AWAITS US ALL – YES, EVEN YOU! Jesus promised in Matthew 10:22, “All men will hate you because of me, but he who stands firm to the end will be saved.” Take it from me: Persecution awaits – in the form of ostracism, discipline and punishment – anyone who mentions anything specifically Christian. We must take our final stand. Don’t let our Christian chaplains be compromised and silenced or, worse, ousted from service. Take action with me now, to guard our nation’s freedom of religion, guaranteed by the Constitution. We must stop this godless plot to silence truth and banish Jesus from the public square. We cannot let them melt down the Christian faith into a meaningless one-size-fits-all sham, nothing more than sounding brass or tinkling cymbal. There is no more fundamental American principle than the inalienable right to freely worship our Creator, and I hope all Christians will pray publicly in Jesus’ name – without fear! For any government official to mandate “non-sectarian” prayers is for him to force his government religion upon me – to censor, exclude and punish me for my obedience to Christ. In my case, the jury recommended only a letter of reprimand and suspended monthly fine of $250. The misdemeanor Navy court, first offense, had NO legal authority to kick me out of the Navy. But top officials immediately moved to separate me from the Navy – using strange administrative proceedings never before attempted on any chaplain – and to take away my pension. This is the latest of many reprisals against me for speaking to the Congress and the press. A March 22 email from Vice Adm. John C. Harvey Jr., the Chief of Naval Personnel, to Adm. Michael G. Mullen, the Chief of Naval Operations, proves they planned to kick me out before I wore my uniform to pray at the White House.

Yes, I staged an 18-day hunger strike last Christmas, skipping Christmas dinner, drinking only water, to pray and fast for our President, losing 14 pounds. The devil hated that, but God loves the power of prayer and fasting. Yes, I’ve gone on record as saying my superiors are breaking their oath to support and defend the Constitution, by actively pressuring chaplains to water down their prayers into generic, non-sectarian forms, against centuries of Navy tradition. But punishing a whistle-blower for his complaints is against the law. These Admirals think because I stand up for what’s right and am true to my God, I’m not worthy of promotion. AND THE SUPPRESSION OF “SKEPTIC” HERESY

Imagine living in a world where no one is allowed to think independent thoughts or take independent actions. Only pre-approved human response would be acceptable. To break the rule and engage in forbidden thought would result in terrible retribution, perhaps leading literally to ones destruction.
That’s the kind of world apparently desired by the global warming Chicken Littles. It seems they are prepared to do anything to achieve it. Case in point is an outrageous letter to ExxonMobil Chairman Rex Tillerson on October 27, 2006. The letter was sent by two United States Senators, Olympia Snowe (R-MA), and Jay Rockefeller (D-WV).
The letter derides Exxon for helping to fund global warming “deniers,” (a term the global warming crowd is using more and more these days to try to draw a parallel with those who deny the Holocaust). Said the letter, “We are convinced that ExxonMobil’s longstanding support of a small cadre of global climate change skeptics, and those skeptics access to and influence on government policymakers, have made it increasingly difficult for the United States to demonstrate the moral clarity it needs across all facets of its diplomacy.”
The letter goes on to say, “ExxonMobil and its partners in denial have manufactured controversy, sown doubt, and impeded progress with strategies all-too reminiscent of those used by the tobacco industry for so many years.” The mention of the tobacco industry is not just a randomly chosen analogy. It’s a heavy-handed threat that Exxon could face the same massive government attack on its very existence if it doesn’t play ball. Threats of wind fall profits taxes and increased regulations being just a couple of the weapons in the government’s arsenal.
The letter concludes, saying, “We would recommend that ExxonMobil publicly acknowledge both the reality of climate change and the role of humans in causing or exacerbating it. Second, ExxonMobil should repudiate its climate change denial campaign.”
As incredible as the letter may seem to free thinkers and Constitutionalists, one must pause to understand the “new think” being foisted on our society. In the August, 2006 issue of The DeWeese Report, (Vol.12, Issue 7), I reported on the root of the new edicts on thinking, called “globally acceptable truth.” This is not just an Ivory Tower intellectual exercise. Those who practice it believe the only way we can have a well-ordered society is for everyone to think and act in unison. Those who break the rules and think for themselves or take action contrary to the “consensus” are simply causing havoc on all of their well-laid plans.
Again, as I reported in August, this incredible idea is not just the silly ravings of a few lunatics. It is being accepted as the proper focus for major policy matters as they emanate from Congress and are parroted by the news media. The main source of such thinking seems to come from the Eden Institute, operating out of New York and with close ties to the UN.
The official use of globally acceptable truth is best described in a letter to the Eden Institute from Robert Muller, Assistant Secretary General of the UN. He wrote, “I am referring to the need to establish a body of objective, globally acceptable information to serve as a foundation for global education.Its (Eden Project) formula for identifying universally acceptable objective data is truly unique. It achieves this distinction by establishing a global standard for inquiry.” Translation: We will decide what is truth and all new information or scientific discovery will be judged on whether it matches this “globally acceptable” truth.
The last time human kind was strapped into such a mental straight jacket was during the Inquisition of the Dark Ages. The period was called the Dark Ages because it was an era of ignorance, superstition and social chaos and repression. Anyone caught questioning the doctrine or power of the church was labeled a heretic and found his or her way to the rack or into the middle of a fire while tied to a stake. The church, of course, was practicing its own brand of globally acceptable truth.
Today, the new heretics to the religion of global warming are those who question whether scientific facts support the dire warnings that are screaming from the newspaper headlines and from environmental groups’ press releases. In fact, there is no better example for the practice of globally acceptable truth than the global warming crowd.
The letter to ExxonMobile from Rockefeller and Snowe is but one example of the dire tactics being used to stifle any debate on the subject. Just recently, the Attorney General of California filed suit against the world’s three biggest care manufacturers for their complicity in creating CO2 emissions. As part of the discovery for the suit, the Attorney General demanded copies of any correspondence between the automakers and so-called “skeptics” of climate change. Message: you can’t even talk to these people! 2006 has seen the church of global warming go into near panic at any sign of heretical behavior.
It’s absolutely incredible to see such panic, considering the global warming mantra is near universal. There are over 12,000 environmental groups in the country controlling over $20 billion in assets, all unified in spreading the climate change gospel. On top of their vast holdings, many of those same groups receive federal grants for “studies” and “reports” on their climate change findings. More grants, in the billions of dollars, are going to scientists willing to join the church and help substantiate the mantra in their “research.”
Added to that substantial fire power is a willing news media which offers magazine cover photos of melting ice caps; and the efforts of the movie and television industry which lets no opportunity get by without some reference to global warming. Al Gore’s own documentary has been in theaters around the nation for months. He is the guest on talk shows nearly every week.
The global warming message is literally everywhere. It indoctrinates our children in the classroom. It flows from the advertising messages of corporations, in their corporate social responsible ad to sell their environmentally-responsible products (for which research and development was probably paid for with federal tax dollars). Huge numbers of Hollywood stars and international political leaders have endorsed the mantra of the church of global warming. Billions and billions of dollars are being spent to influence literally every corner of the earth to accept global warming as a fact.
Countering this massive onslaught of globally acceptable climate change “truth” is a tiny, dedicated band of scientists, political leaders and non-profits that are seeking the real “truth.” Their assets are literally in the low millions of dollars – simply a drop in the bucket when compared to the war chest of the climate change church. They don’t have the medias attention. They don’t have the ability to issue massive grants. Hollywood certainly isn’t making movies to promote the “skeptics” point of view. And the federal government isn’t allowing the contrary opinions in many classrooms.
So, with so much incredible fire power covering every possible exit, one must ask the logical question: why are the climate change crowd so scared of a few renegade groups and their measly few million dollars? The fact is, the “skeptics” are having such an impact on the debate because they are telling the truth. The Church of Global Warming is wrong!
As George Orwell once wrote: “In a time of universal deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act.” There is no greater hero in the revolution for climate change truth than Senator James Inhofe (R-OK), Chairman of the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee. He has truly demonstrated the power one honest individual can wield.
Earlier this year (2006) Sen. Inhofe gave two explosive speeches on the floor of the Senate in which he attacked and exposed the unfounded claims and scare tactics being employed by the Global Warming crowd. The speeches were literally unprecedented in the decades-long climate change debate. And their effect was like a lightening bolt. Almost immediately some scientists began coming out of hiding to side with the Senator.
On December 6th, just as the Rockefeller/Snowe letter was being exposed across the Internet, Inhofe held a hearing on Capitol Hill exposing the “alarmist media.” Said Inhofe, “Rather than focus on the hard science of global warming, the media has instead become advocates for hyping scientifically unfounded climate alarmism.” His attacks have already forced 60 Minutes, CNN and other major media to at least give lip service to the “skeptic” point of view. More importantly, the Senator’s efforts are putting the Global Warming crowd into near cardiac arrest.
It is important to not that the so-called “Skeptics” include Dr. Daniel Schrag of Harvard; Claude Allegre, one of the most decorated French geophysicists; Dr. Richard Lindzen, professor of Atmospheric Sciences, MIT; Dr. Patrick Michaels, University of Virginia: Dr. Fred Singer; Professor Bob Carter, geologist at James Cook University, Australia; 85 scientists and climate experts who signed the 1995 Leipzeg Declaration which called drastic climate controls “ill-advised, lacking credible support from the underlying science; 17,000 scientists and leaders involved in climate study who signed a petition issued by the Oregon Institute of Science and Medicine saying there is no evidence green house gasses cause global warming; and the 4,000 scientists and leaders from around the world, including 70 Nobel Prize winners, who signed the Heidelberg Appeal calling greenhouse global warming theories “highly uncertainly scientific theories.”
These are but a few of the highly qualified “skeptics” deride by Jay Rockefeller, Olympia Snowe and Al Gore whom, they say, should not be given a voice on the issue.
There are lots of lies surrounding the Global Warming mantra. The biggest one claims there is “consensus” among scientists that human-caused global warming is a fact. There is no such consensus. Human survival demands that we listen to the “Skeptics” before they are burned at the stake by suppositious brutes like Jay Rockefeller and Olympia Snowe.

A second airline is embroiled in a religious row after a stewardess decided to take bmi to an employment tribunal because it refused to allow her to carry a Bible on flights to Saudi Arabia.
The stewardess, who has not been named, claims that she has been subject to discrimination because of her faith.
She is understood to have deep religious convictions and carries a Bible with her at all times.
bmi, which is the only British scheduled carrier to fly to the country after British Airways pulled out of the route, insisted that it was only following Foreign Office advice.
The dispute has erupted as British Airways seeks to settle its own dispute with Nadia Eweida, a Heathrow check-in worker, who has been banned from wearing a cross on a necklace while on duty.
A spokesman for bmi said the airline was complying with Saudi law and added that the stewardess had been offered the opportunity to switch to working on its short-haul routes. It could not, however, alter its long-haul rosters to accommodate her.
The Foreign Office website informs travellers to Saudi Arabia: “The importation and use of narcotics, alcohol, pork products and religious books, apart from the Koran, and artefacts are forbidden.”
A spokesman said last night that the Saudi authorities would automatically confiscate a Bible from anybody trying to bring one into the country and it would not be returned.
A spokesman for Christian Solidarity Worldwide said: “It is worrying that a British company should be instructing its staff to conform to practices which are in violation of international standards on religious freedom.
“The Saudi government prohibits the public practice of other religions and the possession of non-Islamic religious objects has often led to arrests.”
